José Nogueras
José Nogueras (born 1951, Mayagüez, Puerto Rico) is a composer, music producer, singer, guitarist, and performer of modern-day Puerto Rican music. Early years At the age of eight, he came to reside in the city of Río Piedras, during his school years, between the ages of 8 and 16 participating in countless musical groups. Nogueras began composing at the age of 17 and made his professional debut with the release of ''Salsa Estival''. Nogueras achieved success collaborating with Cheo Feliciano on "Amada Mía". Career Nogueras' songs have also been performed by Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoe, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Olga Tanon, Ismael Miranda, Lourdes Robles, Andy Montañez, Tito Rojas, Luis "Perico" Ortiz, Johnny Albino, and Tony Vega. Mayagüez (, ) is the ninth-largest Municipalities of Puerto Rico, municipality in Puerto Rico. It was founded as Pueblo de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria de Mayagüez (Township of Virgin of Candelaria, Our Lady of Candelaria), and is also known as ''La Sultana del Oeste'' (The Sultaness of the West), ''Ciudad de las Aguas Puras'' (City of Pure Waters), or ''Ciudad del Mangó'' (Mango City). Tony Vega
Tony Vega Cesar (born July 13, 1957) is a Puerto Rican salsa music, salsa singer. Early years Vega was born in the town of Salinas, California. His family moved to Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when he was three months old, and remained there until he was 10 years old, before moving to Puerto Rico. He was born into a family of musicians so, therefore, he learned how to play the Bongo drum, bongos and conga at an early age. In 1967, when he was 10 years old, he played the conga for a children's band called La Preferida. His family moved to New York City in 1968. In New York, Vega continued to go to school. In his free time however, he played the conga for various local Latin rock bands including City Trash. Latin music was popular in New York during the 1970s and while Vega played the conga for Latin rock bands, he started to become more and more interested in the afroantillano style of music better known as Salsa music, salsa. San Sebastián (, ) is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the northwestern region of the island, south of Isabela, Quebradillas and Camuy; north of Las Marías; east of Moca and Añasco; and west of Lares. San Sebastián is spread over twenty-four barrios and San Sebastián Pueblo (the downtown area and the administrative center of the city). Añasco (, ), named after one of its settlers, Don Luis de Añasco, is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located on the west coast of the island bordering the Mona Passage to the west, north of Mayagüez, and Las Marias; south of Rincón, Aguada, and Moca and west of San Sebastián and Las Marias.
