José Gil (footballer)
José Gil Gordillo (born 9 October 1960), sometimes known as Flaco Gil, is a retired Spanish Association football, football player who played as a Midfielder#Winger, winger. He made 137 appearances in La Liga for RC Celta de Vigo, Celta Vigo in the 1990s, scoring five goals. Career Gil was born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Cádiz (province), Cádiz province, part of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Andalusia, and began his career with local side Cádiz CF. He left to join FC Barcelona, Barcelona in 1980, playing exclusively for their B team, FC Barcelona B, Barcelona Atlètic, over the next five seasons. He signed for Atlètic's Segunda División rivals Deportivo de La Coruña, Deportivo La Coruña in 1985, and was a key part of the team for six years, during which time he amassed 235 appearances and 33 goals. The Vicente Calderón Stadium ( ) was the home stadium of Atlético Madrid from its completion in 1966 to 2017, with a seating capacity of 54,907. It was located on the banks of the Manzanares, in the Arganzuela district of Madrid, Spain. The stadium was originally called the ''Estadio Manzanares'', but this was later changed to the Vicente Calderón Stadium, in honour of their long-term President Vicente Calderón. The stadium closed in 2017 after the conclusion of the 2016–17 season, with Atlético Madrid moving to Metropolitano Stadium for the following season. Demolition began in 2019 and completed the following year. The original capacity from 1966 was 62,000 people. For the 1982 World Cup it was decided to add another 4000 seats, so the capacity from 1982 to 2001 was 66,000. Vladimir Gudelj
Vladimir Gudelj (born 27 December 1966) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as a striker. An excellent penalty taker, he was best known for his eight-year spell with Spain's Celta. Career Gudelj was born in Trebinje, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. After making his professional debuts with FK Velež Mostar he moved to Spain, signing with RC Celta de Vigo in the second division. He scored 27 league goals in his debut season, the Galicians promoted to La Liga and the player continued to lead the scoring charts for his club the following five years. Gudelj left Celta in 1999 as the player with most goals in its history, with almost 100 (68 in the top flight alone). Fabiano Soares Pessoa (born 10 June 1966), known simply as Fabiano as a player, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, currently head coach of CEFAT. José Francisco 'Txetxu' Rojo Arroitia (28 January 1947 – 23 December 2022), also known as Rojo I, was a Spanish football player and manager. During his career, the forward played solely for Athletic Bilbao, in a professional spell which spanned nearly 20 years. He was one of the club's most iconic players, and later also worked as a coach with the team. Rojo won 18 caps for Spain. Club career Born in Bilbao, Biscay, Rojo joined local giants Athletic Bilbao's youth academy at an early age. In 1965, he started playing for the reserves but, after only three appearances, was promoted to the first team, and stayed there until his professional retirement 17 years later.
