José Abal
José Manuel Abal Lores (born 15 July 1961) is a paralympic athlete from Spain competing mainly in category PW3-4 Pentathlon events. Abal competed in two Paralympics, in 1992 in his home country and then in 1996 in Atlanta. Para-athletics is the sport of athletics practiced by people with a disability as a disabled sports, parasport. The list of athletics events, athletics events within the parasport are mostly the same as those available to able-bodied people, with two major exceptions in wheelchair racing and the club throw, which are specific to the division. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; ) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. Vojtěch Vašíček (5 April 1956 – November 2024) was a Czech paralympic athlete and table tennis player. He competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Paralympics.
