Jossa (Sinn)
Jossa () is a river of Hesse, Germany. It is a tributary of the Sinn (river), Sinn, which in turn flows into the Franconian Saale shortly before the latter discharges into the Main (river), Main at Gemünden am Main. Course The Jossa has a length of 32.3 kilometres. It originates at , an ''Ortsteil'' of Jossgrund. Here the Villbach is joined by the ''Lettgenbrunner Quelle''. Since 2007, the place has been marked by a large boulder. The Jossa then flows southeast before turning northwards. Passing and (two other parts of Jossgrund), it gradually turns east north of , part of Bad Soden-Salmünster. Its northernmost point is near (part of Steinau an der Strasse) and it then flows southeast to discharge into the Sinn at Jossa (Sinntal), Jossa, a part of Sinntal. Jossgrund
Jossgrund () is a municipality in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It has around 3,500 inhabitants distributed among several formerly independent villages, now ''Ortsteile''. The administration seat is at Oberndorf. Geography Location The municipality known as "Jossgrund" is located in the valley of the rivulet Jossa (Sinn), Jossa, a tributary to the Sinn (river), Sinn which in turn discharges into the Franconian Saale shortly before the Saale flows into the river Main (river), Main at Gemünden am Main. Bad Soden-Salmünster () is a town in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the river Kinzig (Main), Kinzig, between Fulda and Hanau. It has a population of around 13,000. European Beaver
The Eurasian beaver (''Castor fiber'') or European beaver is a species of beaver widespread across Eurasia, with a rapidly increasing population of at least 1.5 million in 2020. The Eurasian beaver was hunted to near-extinction for both its fur and castoreum, with only about 1,200 beavers in eight relict populations from France to Mongolia in the early 20th century. The Kinzig () is a river, 87 kilometres long, in southern Hesse, Germany. It is a right tributary of the Main (river), Main. Its source is in the Spessart hills at Sterbfritz, near Schlüchtern. The Kinzig flows into the Main in Hanau. The Main-Kinzig-Kreis (district) was named after the river. The towns along the Kinzig are Schlüchtern, Steinau an der Straße, Bad Soden-Salmünster, Gelnhausen, and Hanau. The Kinzig is first recorded in 815 A.D. as ''Chinzicha''.
