Joshua Park
Joshua Park (November 26, 1976 – August 30, 2015) was an American theater and screen actor, known for his Broadway debut as the title character of Tom Sawyer in the 2001 musical comedy, ''The Adventures of Tom Sawyer''. He died following a brief illness with pancreatic cancer on August 30, 2015, at the age of 38. He was surrounded by his mother, Beverly Miller, a sister, and other relatives and friends in his native Marshville, North Carolina. Early life Park was born in Union County, North Carolina, in 1976. He graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and then moved to New York City in the early 2000s to pursue a career in acting and theater.
