Joshua Guerrero is an American operatic tenor, focused on Italian repertoire. He appeared as Count Almaviva on a recording of Corigliano's ''The Ghosts of Versailles'', which won two 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Grammy Awards. His first role in Germany was Des Grieux in Puccini's ''Manon Lescaut (Puccini), Manon Lescaut'' at the Oper Frankfurt. Career Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Guerrero was inspired to sing after hearing a rendition by a seminary choir of John Rutter's ''The Lord bless you and keep you''. He studied opera for two years at the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating in 2012. He was subsequently a member of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program of the Los Angeles Opera and of the Santa Fe Opera's Apprentice Artist Program. Teatro De La Maestranza
The Teatro de la Maestranza is an opera house located in Seville, Spain. The theatre was conceived to be one of the main cultural venues of the Seville Expo '92, and the first performance took place in 1991, shortly before the inauguration of the Universal Exposition. The theatre was refurbished in 2005. Although the Teatro de la Maestranza is mainly devoted to opera, there are also performances of Zarzuela (Spanish operetta) and other musical performances. The Creation (Haydn)
''The Creation'' () is an oratorio written in 1797 and 1798 by Joseph Haydn (Hoboken catalogue, Hob. XXI:2), and considered by many to be one of his masterpieces. The oratorio depicts and celebrates the creation of the world as Genesis creation narrative, narrated in the Book of Genesis. The libretto was written by Gottfried van Swieten. The work is structured in three parts and scored for soprano, tenor and Bass (voice type), bass soloists, chorus and a symphonic orchestra. In parts I and II, depicting the creation, the soloists represent the archangels Raphael (archangel), Raphael (bass), Uriel (tenor) and Gabriel (soprano). Gustavo Adolfo Dudamel Ramírez (born 26 January 1981) is a Venezuelan conductor. He is currently the music director of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is scheduled to become the Music and Artistic Director of the New York Philharmonic in 2026. Early life Dudamel was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, the son of a trombonist and a voice teacher. Symphony No
A symphony is an extended musical composition in Western classical music, most often for orchestra. Although the term has had many meanings from its origins in the ancient Greek era, by the late 18th century the word had taken on the meaning common today: a work usually consisting of multiple distinct sections or movements, often four, with the first movement in sonata form. Asmik Grigorian (born 12 May 1981 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian operatic soprano of Armenian ancestry. Life and career In 1999, Asmik Grigorian graduated from National M. K.
