Josh Wale
Josh Wale (born 8 April 1988) is a British professional boxer. He held the British bantamweight title from 2017 to 2018. He challenged for the Commonwealth bantamweight title in 2012; the Commonwealth super bantamweight title in 2016; the European bantamweight title in 2018; and the British super bantamweight title three times between 2014 and 2019. Career From Barnsley, Wale won a NABC schoolboy title and represented England as an amateur, and attended the National Boxing Academy at East Durham and Houghall Community College in Peterlee, where he also studied hairdressing. He made his professional debut in October 2006 with a first-round stoppage if Neil Read. In his fifth fight, in December 2007, he stopped Mo Khaled in the fourth round to take the vacant BBBofC Central Area bantamweight title. Willie Casey
Willie Casey (born 20 December 1981) is an Irish professional boxer who lives in Limerick, Ireland. He won the Prizefighter series in May 2010 in the super bantamweight division, defeating Mark Moran, Josh Wale and Paul McElhinney. He is nicknamed "Big Bang" for his aggressive and powerful boxing style. Casey fought Paul Hyland at the University Arena in Limerick on 6 November 2010 for the European Super Bantamweight title which was previously held by Bernard Dunne. The original fight was supposed to be against Kiko Martinez who had held the title. However Martinez vacated the title citing a "rib injury" as the problem. Don Broadhurst
Don Broadhurst is a retired English professional boxer who competed in the Flyweight division. He hails from Birmingham and boxed for Frank Warren's Sports Network. He held the Commonwealth super flyweight champion from 31 October 2008 to 11 December 2009. Amateur career Broadhurst was a standout amateur who won the Flyweight ABA championship in 2003 and Gold for England in the 2006 Commonwealth Games. He defeated South Africa's Jackson Van Chauke in the final of the games and was the first of five boxers to win gold for England that day. Lonsdale Belt
The Lord Lonsdale Challenge Belt, commonly known as the Lonsdale Belt, is the oldest championship belt in British professional boxing. Hugh Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale, introduced the prize on behalf of the National Sporting Club (NSC), intending it to be awarded to British boxing champions. Arthur Frederick Bettinson, manager of the NSC, introduced terms and conditions regarding the holding of the belt, which ensured its lasting prestige. Freddie Welsh earned the first Lonsdale Belt in 1909 after winning the NSC British Lightweight title. Heavyweight Henry Cooper was the first and only boxer to win three Lonsdale Belts. Gavin McDonnell (born 30 March 1986) is a British professional boxer who has challenged twice for a world super-bantamweight title: the WBC title in 2017, and the WBA title in 2018. Stuart Hall (born 24 February 1980) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2008 to 2018. He held the IBF bantamweight world title from 2013 to 2014, and challenged twice for the same title in 2014 and 2016.
