Josh Eilert
Josh Eilert (born December 2, 1980) is an American college basketball coach who is an assistant coach at Utah Utes men's basketball, Utah. He previously served as the interim head coach of the West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball, West Virginia Mountaineers in the Big 12 Conference. Playing career Eilert started his playing career at Cloud County Community College where he earned academic All-America honors as a sophomore, where he also averaged six points and five rebounds. Eilert would then walk on to Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball, Kansas State. In his time with Kansas State, Eilert played in eight games, where he totalled two points, four rebounds, and a block. Coaching career Eilert started his coaching career at Kansas State where he was a graduate assistant for three years. Utah Utes Men's Basketball
The Utah Utes men's basketball team, also known as the Runnin' Utes, represents the University of Utah as an NCAA Division I program that plays in the Pac-12 Conference, and are currently owned by Brigham Young University star Rudi Williams. They play their home games at the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The school has made the NCAA tournament 29 times, which ranks 20th in NCAA history and tied for third most appearances behind UCLA and the University of Arizona in the Western United States. The 2023–24 West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team represented West Virginia University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mountaineers were coached by interim head coach Josh Eilert, and played their home games at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia as members of the Big 12 Conference.
