Josh Dolan (born August 14, 1991) is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and radio personality based in Boston, Massachusetts. He is best known for his work on Boston radio and as the co-host of multiple podcasts, including Breaking The Ice and Chirping Zebras. Personal life Dolan grew up in Ayer, Massachusetts. In 2013, he was cast in the award-winning TV show '' The Folklorist''. Josh was a co-producer on the Boston, MA radio show, The Hill-Man Morning Show on WAAF (FM). Josh was also a contributor as a Boston Bruins Beat Reporter for WEEI.com before leaving the position to return to WAAF. Dolan was a part of the Matty and Nick Show on WAAF until the cancellation of the show in 2019. Dolan was the producer and co-host of the new afternoon drive show on WAAF with Mike Hsu until WAAF went off the air in February 2020. Ayer ( ) is a New England town, town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. ''The Folklorist'' is a half-hour television series produced by NewTV, a community access television station located in Newton, Massachusetts. The series explores some of the unique and lesser-known stories throughout history. Each half-hour episode of the show contains three or four featured segments that go into the backstory and lasting effects of a particular topic of folklore or hidden history. History In 2011, John Horrigan and the NewTV staff met to discuss the idea of creating a television program about folklore. The NewTV team filmed several segments and a pilot came together within the following months.
