Josephus Schenk
Josephus Schenk (born 19 August 1980, in Zutphen) is a former Dutch professional darts player. Career Schenk began playing in the Professional Darts Corporation made his PDC World Darts Championship debut in 2005 where he defeated American Darin Young in the first round and Alan Caves in the second round before defeating Peter Manley in the round three stage. His run was ended though in the Last 16 stage by Andy Hamilton. In the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship, Schenk was beaten in the first round by Dennis Priestley. This was followed by an appearance in the 2007 UK Open but was beaten early in the competition by Geoff Harkup. In 2008, Schenk began playing in the Nederlandse Darts Bond, an affiliation of the British Darts Organisation and in 2009 he began playing in the BDO/WDF circuit. Zutphen
Zutphen () is a city and municipality located in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It lies some 30 km northeast of Arnhem, on the eastern bank of the river Ijssel at the point where it is joined by the Berkel. UK Open (darts)
The Cazoo UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. Often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts", the UK Open replicates the abolition of seedings, elimination play, and fixtures determined via open draw. One-hundred-and-sixty players compete in the multi-board event over eight-stages before the PDC’s Top 32 enter the tournament in the fourth round. Andrew Hamilton (born 16 March 1967), nicknamed The Hammer, is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Early career Hamilton started playing darts at the age of 14 with his father Jim and brother Darren. By the age of 18, Hamilton was playing county level darts for Cheshire. However, he did not feel confident enough to pursue a career at the higher level and stopped playing competitive darts for 20 years. 2004–2007 Hamilton made his television debut at the 2004 UK Open but was eliminated in the first round 5–2 by Eddie Lovely. His first semi-final on the PDC Pro Tour came in just his fourth event when he was beaten 3–2 by Mark Dudbridge in a Scottish Players Championship. Berry Van Peer
Berry van Peer (born 23 August 1996) is a Dutch darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career Van Peer won two events on the PDC Development Tour in Coventry in April 2015. He went on to finish third in the 2015 Development Tour Order of Merit and was subsequently awarded a two-year PDC Pro Tour card for 2016 and 2017. Van Peer qualified for the UK Open and Players Championship Finals in 2016, losing in the second round of each event. He also reached the final of the 19th Development Tour tournament of the year and was defeated 4−3 by Mike de Decker. Van Peer qualified for the final of the PDC World Youth Championship. Gino Vos
Gino Vos (born 6 July 1990) is a Dutch professional darts player. Career Vos first came to prominence as an 18-year-old in the 2008 Czech Open, getting to the final before losing to Dave Prins 6–4. His next major success came in the 2009 World Masters as a 19-year-old. He defeated such players as Ross Smith in the last 72, before knocking out the then- BDO World Champion Ted Hankey by 3 sets to 1 in the last 16. His run came to an end, however, as he was beaten 3–1 by eventual winner Martin Adams in the quarter-finals. Vos has also played in European events on the PDC Pro Tour. Derk Telnekes (born April 28, 1995) is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career In 2017, Telnekes won the Belgium Open. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship as one of the playoff qualifiers. He played Chris Landman in the preliminary round, winning 3–0. Dennis Priestley
Dennis Priestley (born 16 July 1950) is an English former professional darts player. He has won two world championships, and was the first player to win both the BDO and WDC (now PDC) world championships, in 1991 and 1994 respectively. He is nicknamed "The Menace", after the cartoon character Dennis the Menace, and reflects this by wearing red and black, and using red and black flights.
