Joseph Charles Walsh
Joseph Charles Walsh (December 6, 1868 – August 30, 1960) was a lawyer, judge, journalist and political figure in Quebec. He represented St. Ann in the House of Commons of Canada from 1906 to 1908 and from 1921 to 1925 as a Liberal. He was born in Montreal, the son of Matthew Walsh and Anastasia O'Brien, and was educated at the Collège Sainte-Marie de Montréal, the Université Laval and McGill University. Walsh was admitted to the Quebec bar in 1895 and set up practice in Montreal. He contributed to the ''Montreal Star'' and ''Montreal Herald''. Walsh was secretary for the Montreal bar from 1898 to 1899 and was crown prosecutor for Montreal district from 1910 to 1925. He was prosecutor in the murder trial of Adélard Delorme, a Roman Catholic priest accused of murdering his stepbrother. Joseph Kevin Walsh (born 13 May 1992) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a defender. Club career Swansea City Walsh was born in Cardiff, South Glamorgan. He joined Swansea as an under-16 player after previously playing for Cardiff College Celts. In his first season, he helped the Swans to FAW Youth Cup glory against his hometown club, Cardiff City, at their old Ninian Park ground. Joseph Walsh (December 16, 1875 – January 13, 1946) was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Massachusetts. Biography Walsh was born December 16, 1875, in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston. He attended public schools in Falmouth, Massachusetts, and the Boston University School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in 1906 and practiced in New Bedford. He served as a fish culturist and clerk in the United States Bureau of Fisheries at Woods Hole, Mass., from 1900 to 1905, and also engaged in newspaper reporting in Boston and New Bedford.
