Joseph T. Deters
Joseph Theodore Deters (born April 4, 1957) is an American politician and lawyer who has been a justice of the Ohio Supreme Court since 2023. Early life, family, and education Deters is one of eight children born to Nancy and Donald Deters. His grandfather, Daniel Tehan, was a longtime Hamilton County Sheriff. Deters graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1975. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1979, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1982. Career Deters began his career in public service in 1982 as an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor. In 1988, after six years as an Assistant Prosecutor, he was elected the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts. In 1992, he returned to the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office when he was appointed and later elected Prosecuting Attorney. He was reelected in 1996. The Supreme Court of the State of Ohio is the highest court in the U.S. state of Ohio, with final authority over interpretations of Ohio law and the Ohio Constitution. Anthony Kirkland
Anthony Wayne Kirkland (born September 13, 1968) is an American serial killer. Between 2006 and 2009, Kirkland murdered two women and two girls in the Cincinnati area, following a 16-year prison term for the 1987 killing of his girlfriend. Early life Kirkland was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 13, 1968, to Carol Yvonne Kirkland, an unwed 17-year-old mother. His birth certificate lists his biological father as Georgia Palmore. When Kirkland was 18, his mother married Clarence Spencer.
