Joseph Giampietro
Joseph Giampietro, also known as Josef Giampietro (21 June 1866 – 29 December 1913), was an Austrian actor, operetta singer, and comedian. Life Giampietro studied at the Technical University in Vienna and attended the conservatory of the Society of Friends of Music located there. He began his career in Budapest in 1886, continued in Bolzano and Merano, moved on to Salzburg in 1887, and then to Karlovy Vary Karlovy Vary (; , formerly also spelled ''Carlsbad'' in English) is a spa town, spa city in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary (; , formerly also spelled ''Carlsbad'' in English) is a spa town, spa city in the Karlovy Vary Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 49,000 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the Ohře and Teplá (river), Teplá rivers. Karlovy Vary is named after Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor and the King of Bohemia, who founded the city in the 14th century. The site of numerous hot springs, the city grew into a spa resort in the 19th century and was a popular destination for the European aristocracy and other luminaries. Hietzing Cemetery
Hietzing Cemetery is a cemetery in Hietzing, the 13th district of Vienna, Austria. Located just south-west of the Schönbrunn Palace, the cemetery covers approximately 97,175 m² and contains around 11,100 graves. History A burial ground existed near today’s Maxingstraße even before 1786. After Hietzing became an independent parish, a new cemetery was established at its current location in 1787 and expanded several times (including in 1794, 1817, 1835, 1892, 1907, between 1918 and 1944, in the 1950s, and in 1979), eventually growing to over 40,000 m² in size. Since 1892, the cemetery has been owned by the City of Vienna and serves as an interdenominational burial site for Hietzing and the Schönbrunn Palace. In 1913, a new chapel and mortuary were built.
