Joseph Angara
Joseph Oduol Angara (born 8 November 1971) is a former Kenyan cricketer who played One Day Internationals for Kenyan national team between 1997 and 2003, including at the 1999 and 2003 World Cups. Career As player One of Angara's best performances in ODIs came at the 2001 tri-series in South Africa. In the sixth match of the series, he returned figures of 3/30 helping his team defeat India. Playing his first game of the series, Angara bowled four maiden overs in his first spell, while claiming the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar bowling him out for 3. He was named player of the match. As coach Angara was appointed coach of the Botswana national cricket team in July 2015. Nairobi
Nairobi ( ) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. The name is derived from the Maasai phrase ''Enkare Nairobi'', which translates to "place of cool waters", a reference to the Nairobi River which flows through the city. The 2015 ICC Africa Under-19 Championship was a cricket tournament held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, from 14–20 February 2015. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Sahara Elite League
The Sahara Elite League (also known as Zonal League) was a four team cricket competition created by Cricket Kenya featuring a Twenty20 tournament, a one day cricket tournament and finally a three-day cricket tournament. For the inaugural league four teams will be competing consisting of the 60 best players according to Cricket Kenya from Kenya. Tournament history The first, and what was to be the only, edition of the competition involved four franchises, the Northern Nomads, the Eastern Aces, the Southern Stars, and the Western Chiefs. The teams were captained by National team players, Steve Tikolo, Thomas Odoyo, Kennedy Obuya, and Peter Ongondo 2008. Cricket Kenya is the official ICC recognised organisation chosen to represent Kenya in terms of cricket issues. They are in charge of overseeing the Kenyan Cricket Team.
