Josef Johansson
Josef Johansson (born 10 June 1993) is a Tunisian-Swedish pop singer and songwriter. Born in Tunisia where he began singing as a young singer at age 6, he was raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. He later moved to Stockholm and appeared in a number of recordings as a demo artist for American producers. He was signed to Warner Music in 2012, releasing his debut single "Baby Baby" that was released in the spring of 2013. The single played on various Swedish radio stations. In 2013 he was awarded the Ted Gärdestad scholarship for his songwriting. In 2014, Johansson took part in Melodifestivalen 2014 in a bid to represent Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2014. The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was the 59th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen 2014 was the Swedish music competition which selected Sweden's 54th entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Sanna Nielsen won the competition with the song "Undo". This was one of the closest results in Melodifestivalen history, as Nielsen beat her nearest rival, Ace Wilder, by only two points. For the thirteenth consecutive year, the competition consisted of four heats, a "Second Chance" round, and a final. A total of 32 entries were divided into four heats, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that won first and second place went directly to the final, while the songs that placed third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance heat. Ted Gärdestad
Ted Arnbjörn Gärdestad (; 18 February 195622 June 1997) was a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and actor known internationally as Ted. Gärdestad began his acting career in 1966 and began playing music in 1971, signing with Polar Music. Assigned with in-house producers Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, Gärdestad released his first single, "Hela världen runt," in late 1971 and worked closely with the four members of ABBA to create his debut album '' Undringar'' (1972).
