Jorunn Bjørg Giske
Jorunn Bjørg Giske (28 September 1927 – 21 January 2021) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Career Giske was born in Giske Municipality to farmer Bjarne Berntsen Giske and Nikoline Valkvæ. She served as deputy representative to the Storting from Møre og Romsdal during the term 1973–1977. She met during 90 days of parliamentary session. Giske was elected to the municipal council of Halden Municipality from 1955 to 1959, and to the municipal council of Trondheim Municipality from 1971 to 1983. From 1977 to 1978 she was a board member of the Norwegian Labour Party. Giske is an island List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Møre og Romsdal Counties of Norway, county, Norway. The Storting ( ; ) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. Møre og Romsdal is one of the 19 multi-member constituencies of the Storting, the national legislature of Norway. The constituency was established as Møre in 1921 following the introduction of proportional representation for elections to the Storting. It was renamed Møre og Romsdal from 1935. Halden Municipality
Halden (), between 1665 and 1928 known as Fredrikshald, is both a town and a municipality in Østfold county, Norway.
