Jorge Saffirio
Jorge Alejandro Saffirio Espinoza (born 9 June 1593) is a Chilean politician and member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile. Early life Saffirio studied civil construction at the University of La Frontera. Political career He started his political career as a city counselor of Victoria, Chile and then became the mayor of Victoria. He was then elected to be the governor of Malleco Province. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of Chile in the 2021 Chilean general election. Temuco
Temuco () is a List of cities in Chile, city and Communes of Chile, commune, capital (political), capital of the Cautín Province and of the Araucanía Region in southern Chile. The city is located south of Santiago de Chile, Santiago. The city grew out from a fort of the same name established in 1881 during Occupation of Araucanía, Chile's invasion of Araucanía. 2021 Chilean General Election
General elections were held in Chile on 21 November 2021, including presidential, parliamentary and regional elections. Voters went to the polls to elect a President of Chile, president to serve a four-year term, 27 of 50 members of the Senate of Chile, Senate to serve an eight-year term, all 155 members of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, Chamber of Deputies to serve a four-year term and all 302 members of the regional boards to serve a three-year term. Following an electoral reform in 2015, the Senate increased its membership from 38 to 43 in 2017 and grew to its full size of 50 seats after this election.
