Jorge Padilla (baseball)
Jorge Rafael Padilla (born August 11, 1979 in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico) is a former Major League Baseball outfielder. He was first called up to the major leagues on August 5, 2009. Professional career Minor league journeyman: 1998 to 2008 Padilla was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the third round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft. He soon made his debut with the Rookie-level Martinsville Phillies. He batted .356 with five homers and 25 RBIs in 23 games. In Padilla split his season between the Class A Piedmont Boll Weevils, where in 44 games he hit .208 with three homers and 17 RBIs, and the Short-season Batavia Muckdogs, where in 65 games he hit .252 with three homers and 30 RBIs. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch Batted ball, fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the Baseball, bases. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees
The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, often abbreviated to SWB RailRiders, are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. They are located in Moosic, Pennsylvania, in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, and are named in reference to Northeastern Pennsylvania being home to the first trolley system in the United States. Austin Kearns
Austin Ryan Kearns (born May 20, 1980) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2002 through 2013 for the Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, and Miami Marlins. Baseball career Cincinnati Reds After playing at Lafayette Senior High School, he was offered a scholarship to play college baseball at the University of Florida.
