Jorge Olguín
Jorge Mario Olguín (born 17 May 1952 in Dolores, Buenos Aires) is a retired Argentine footballer who played as a defender. He played for Argentina when the team won 1978 World Cup. Since his retirement as a player he has managed a number of football clubs. Playing career Mostly deployed as a centre back in club football, Olguín was positioned as a right back with the national team by coach César Luis Menotti. Among his achievements as a player there is one World Cup with the Argentina national football team, the Copa Libertadores, and six Argentine league titles. He started his career at San Lorenzo in 1971, he played for the club for 8 years, in that time they won three trophies (1972 Metropolitano, 1972 Nacional and 1974 Nacional). In 1978 Olguín was included in Argentina's world cup squad. Dolores, Buenos Aires
Dolores is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the administrative centre for Dolores Partido. The town settlement was officially founded by Ramón Lara on 21 August 1817. 2008 March train disaster On March 9, 2008 an intercity bus from the company El Rápido Argentino collided with a Ferrobaires passenger train with 250 passengers on board at a level crossing on the Provincial Highway 63 on the outskirts of Dolores, killing seventeen people and injuring at least twenty-five. The 1982 FIFA World Cup was the 12th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in Spain from 13 June to 11 July 1982. The tournament was won by Italy, who defeated West Germany 3–1 in the final held in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in the capital, Madrid. Pedro Monzón
Pedro Damián Monzón (born 23 February 1962) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is an assistant manager of Independiente. Club career ''Moncho'' Monzón played in different clubs, but most importantly in Independiente, with which he obtained 4 titles, including the Intercontinental Cup in 1984. International career With the Argentina national team he scored one goal against Romania in the 1990 World Cup. Monzón became the first player to be sent off in a World Cup final, when referee Edgardo Codesal gave him a straight red card for a high tackle on Jürgen Klinsmann of Germany 65 minutes into the game, 20 minutes after he replaced fellow defender Oscar Ruggeri. The CONMEBOL Libertadores, also known as Copa Libertadores de América (), is an annual continental club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 1960. It is the highest level of competition in South American club football.
