Jorge L. Flores (31 January 1954 – 6 January 2025) was a Mexican basketball player who was on the 1976 Summer Olympics Mexico national basketball team. He was born in La Piedad La Piedad is a municipality located at in the north-west of the Mexican state of Michoacán, bordering Jalisco and Guanajuato and being the northernmost municipality in Michoacán. Jorge Flores (soccer)
Jorge Flores (born February 13, 1977) is an American former soccer midfielder who spent four seasons with the Dallas Burn in Major League Soccer. He was a member of the U.S. teams at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship and 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship. Club Flores attended Paramount High School in Paramount, California, graduating in 1994. He was an outstanding youth soccer player. In February 1996, the Dallas Burn selected Flores in the 11th round (103rd overall) of the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft. He became a starter with the Burn while continuing to play for the youth national teams. In 1998, he saw limited time due to a stress fracture. In 1999, he played one game for the Boston Bulldogs in the USL A-League and two on loan to the MLS Pro 40. The Burn released him in 2000. Jorge Villafaña
Jorge Antonio Flores Villafaña (born September 16, 1989) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a left-back. He is currently the head coach for Westside Metros. Career Youth Villafaña spent part of his childhood in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico before returning to the United States for high school. He attended Anaheim High School and became captain of the soccer team. In March 2007, Villafaña won '' Sueño MLS'', a reality show that led to a try-out with Major League Soccer. His reality show win earned him the nickname "Sueño". Villafaña beat out around 2,000 other competitors to earn a spot on Chivas USA's U-19 squad. Professional Villafaña was signed by Chivas USA to a professional contract in July 2007. He made his only appearance of the season as a substitute in a 3–0 win over New York Red Bulls. Jorge Luis Flores Sánchez (born February 22, 1974), better known as Nina Flowers, is a Puerto Rican drag queen and DJ who has been performing since 1993. He is best known for being the runner-up of the inaugural season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', as well as being a contestant on the first season of '' RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars''. Biography Flowers was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He started his career as a DJ in 1989 when she became a resident DJ at Krash Klub Kafe, one of the most prestigious clubs in the Caribbean. He started his drag career in March 1993 while studying to become a professional makeup artist. In 1999, she won both the Miss Puerto Rico Continental and Miss City Lights Continental pageants.
