Jorge Corrula (born 16 March 1978) is a Portuguese actor and fashion model. He got his first major role in the hit teen series '' Morangos com Açúcar'' (2004). Later, was a cast member of various television productions: ''Resistirei'' (2007/08), '' Floribella'' (2006/08), ''Sete Vidas'' (2006/07), ''Mistura Fina'' (2004/05) among others. ''Morangos com Açúcar'' (lit. ''Strawberries with Sugar''; distributed internationally as ''Sweet Strawberries'') is a Portuguese teen drama. It was broadcast daily on the Portuguese TV station TVI between 30 August 2003 to 15 September 2012. The Portuguese show has also been broadcast in Angola, Syria, Brazil, Romania and Galicia. Format There are two versions of the show. One airs during the normal school year, and the other one, "Férias de Verão", is a summer series that is aired during the summer months. ''Floribella'' is a soap opera that was produced in Brazil, Portugal and Chile. Each of those countries had their own cast, but the show had exactly the same name. Although they had the same name, all of them came from the first and original Argentine soap opera called '' Floricienta'', created by Cris Morena. ''O Crime do Padre Amaro'' ("The Crime of Father Amaro"), subtitled 'Scenes of Religious Life', is a novel by the 19th-century Portuguese writer José Maria de Eça de Queiroz. It was first published in 1875 to great controversy. Background Eça finished the first draft of this novel in 1875. He sent it to some friends who ran a literary magazine, with the request that they return the proofs so he could edit them. However, they began to serialise the story without allowing him to see the proofs. He subsequently revised the novel and submitted it to a publisher in 1876 but it was barely noticed by the public. Eça then wrote '' Cousin Bazilio'', returning to ''The Crime of Father Amaro'' only after the publication of ''Cousin Bazilio'' in 1878.
