Jorge Cori
Jorge Moisés Cori Tello (, born 30 July 1995) is a Peruvian chess grandmaster. A former chess prodigy, he was twice world champion and four-time Pan American champion in his age category. Cori competed in the FIDE World Cup in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2019 and 2021. He has played for the Peruvian team in the Chess Olympiad since 2010. Career Cori finished joint first in the under 10 section of the Pan American Youth Chess Festival in 2004 and as a result he was awarded the title of FIDE Master. Following this, he won the gold medal at the Pan American Youth Chess Festival in various age categories: under 10 (2005), under 12 (2006), under 14 (2008) and under 18 (2009). Cori also won the gold medal at the World Youth Chess Championships in the under 14 category in 2009 and the under 16 in 2011. Montevideo

Chess World Cup 2015
The Chess World Cup 2015 was a 128-player single-elimination chess tournament held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 10 September to 5 October 2015. Sergey Karjakin won the competition on tie-breaks after a four-game final against Peter Svidler. Both finalists qualified for the 2016 Candidates Tournament. The winner of the Chess World Cup 2013, Vladimir Kramnik, was defeated by Dmitry Andreikin in the third round. Format Matches consisted of two games (except for the final, which consisted of four). Players had 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move from the start of the game. Axel Bachmann
Axel Bachmann Schiavo (born 4 November 1989) is a Paraguayan chess player who holds the Grandmaster title. Biography Bachmann went to study to the University of Texas at Brownsville on a chess scholarship due to a recommendation by Peruvian-American Grandmaster Daniel Fernandez. There, Bachmann was a teammate and training partner of Chilean grandmaster Mauricio Flores Ríos. Bachmann won the 5th Iberoamerican Chess Championship held in Linares, Jaén, Spain in 2014. Vicente López is a partido in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is one of the country´s most affluent municipalities. World Junior Chess Championship
The World Junior Chess Championship is an under-20 chess tournament (players must have been under 20 years old on 1 January in the year of competition) organized by the World Chess Federation (FIDE). The idea was the brainchild of William Ritson-Morry, who organized the 1951 inaugural event to take place in Birmingham, England. Subsequently, it was held every two years until 1973, when an annual schedule was adopted. In 1983, a separate tournament for girls was established. The first championship was an 11-round Swiss system tournament. In subsequent championships, the entrants were divided into sections, and preliminary sectional tournaments were used to establish graded finals sections (Final A, Final B, etc.).
