Jorge Arreaza
Jorge Alberto Arreaza Montserrat (Venezuelan ; born 6 June 1973) is a Venezuelan politician who has held several important positions in the administration of President Hugo Chávez and his successor Nicolás Maduro. From August 2017 to August 2021, Arreaza served as Venezuela's Minister of Foreign Affairs (Venezuela), Minister of Foreign Affairs. Education and early career Born in Caracas, Arreaza Montserrat received a degree in international studies from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and was awarded a scholarship by the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation during the 1990s, which allowed him to earn a master's degree in European Policy Studies at University of Cambridge, England. Carlos Trujillo (born February 25, 1983) is an American lobbyist and government affairs professional who previously served as United States Ambassador to the Organization of American States. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served four terms in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 until his appointment as ambassador. In March 2020, President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Trujillo to be the next Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs and a member of the board of directors of the Inter-American Foundation.
