Jordy Smith
Jordan Michael "Jordy" Smith (born 11 February 1988) is a South African professional surfer, competing on the World championship tour surfing (WCT). In 2007 Smith won surfing's World Qualifying Series, the second-tier tour which leads to qualification for the World championship tour (WCT) surfing. Jordy Smith won both the 2010 and 2011 Billabong J-Bay competitions in South Africa. He has also won 2014 and 2016 Hurley Pro at trestles California . In 2013 he won the Rio Pro in Brazil. All of these contests are part of the world championship tour. Smith grew up in Durban and started surfing at age 3. He attended a local Durban high school, Glenwood High School. Smith is known for the manoeuvres "rodeo flip" and full rotation "alley-oops", and he has been sponsored by O'Neill since 2007. In 2014, Smith married South African model Lyndall Jarvis. Men and women compete in separate tours with events taking place from late February to mid-December, at various surfing locations around the world. Surfers receive points for their best events. Trestles (surfing)
Trestles is a collection of surfing spots between northern San Onofre State Beach in San Diego County and southern San Clemente, California, San Clemente in Orange County, California, Orange County in California. Trestles consists of, from north to south, Upper Trestles (Uppers), Lower Trestles (Lowers), and Middle Trestles (Middles). North of Upper Trestles is the surf spot called Cottons. South of Middles is the surf spot called The Church. Middles gets its name because it was a middle area between Trestles (both Uppers and Lowers breaks) and The Church (sometimes just called "Church". It is named after Trestles Bridge, a wooden trestle bridge that surfers must walk under to reach the beach, replaced in 2012 by a concrete viaduct. Bells Beach
Bells Beach is a locality in Surf Coast Shire, Victoria, Australia. It is a popular surf beach, located 100 km south-west of Melbourne, on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc. It is named after William Bell, a Geelong businessman and grazier, who owned much of the property there from the 1840s. Many records wrongly accredit the location's name to John Calvert Bell of the family that took up a pastoral run there much later in 1905 and built the 'Addiscot' homestead. John Calvert Bell was, before that time, a resident at Calder Park, Mount Duneed, and not related to William Bell of Bells Beach. The beach and coastal reserve are listed on the Victorian Heritage Register. La Libertad ('Liberty') is a municipality in the La Libertad Department (El Salvador), La Libertad Department of El Salvador.
