Jordi Vanlerberghe
Jordi Vanlerberghe (born 27 June 1996) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for Danish Superliga club Brøndby. Club career Vanlerberghe made his Belgian Pro League debut on 27 October 2012 in the derby against Lierse. He replaced Nicklas Pedersen as an 88th-minute substitute. He scored his first professional goal on 25 January 2014 against Mons. In June 2017, Vanlerberghe was signed on a four-year deal by Club Brugge. There, he failed to gain a starting spot under head coach Ivan Leko, as the club won the Belgian league title. In July 2018, it was therefore decided to loan him out to Oostende, where he was reunited with Gert Verheyen, his former coach with the Belgian U23 team. Vanlerberghe played a good season in Ostend where he was a regular starter. At the end of the season, he returned to Club Brugge. Duffel
Duffel () is a Municipalities of Belgium, municipality in the Belgium, Belgian province of Antwerp (province), Antwerp. The municipality comprises the town of Duffel proper. On 1 January 2020, Duffel had a total population of 17,664. The total area is 22.71 km2 which gives a population density of 778 inhabitants per km2. The area is the eponym of a coarse woolen cloth, manufactured in this area from the 11th century, mainly used to make blankets, outdoor (army) coats, and tote bags. Ivan Leko
Ivan Leko (born 7 February 1978) is a Croatian professional football manager and former player who is currently head coach Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent. Club career Leko started his career with his hometown club Hajduk Split and played there for several seasons, before moving to Spain to join Málaga. In his early senior years, he was loaned to HNK Trogir. In January 2005, Leko returned for a brief stint with Hajduk; in the summer he joined Club Brugge. On 15 January 2009, he decided to sign a contract for Germinal Beerschot. After his spell in Antwerp, he ended his career at Lokeren. International career Leko made his debut for Croatia in a June 1999 Korea Cup match against Egypt, coming on as a 65th-minute substitute for Mario Cvitanović, and earned a total of 13 caps, scoring no goals. The 2019–20 Belgian First Division A (officially known as Jupiler Pro League) was the 117th season of top-tier football in Belgium. On 2 April 2020, the Jupiler Pro League's board of directors agreed to propose to cancel the season early during the COVID-19 pandemic. Should this proposal be accepted, Club Brugge KV, Club Brugge will be awarded the title. In the meantime UEFA has threatened to ban teams in Europe in case their respective leagues were terminated early without trying to have all remaining matches completed. The decision of whether to accept this proposal was initially meant to be decided by a vote at a meeting on 15 April 2020, but had been postponed three times.
