Jordan Goodwin
Jordan Goodwin (born October 23, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Saint Louis Billikens. High school career Goodwin attended Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville, Illinois. As a junior, he averaged 19 points, nine rebounds and 3.2 assists, leading his team to a 32–2 record and the Class 3A state title. He repeated as the ''Belleville News-Democrat'' Class 3A-4A Player of the Year. On January 24, 2017, Goodwin posted 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 74–64 win over Mount Vernon High School, passing Kevin Lisch as Althoff's all-time leading scorer. After the game, he underwent season-ending surgery for a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder, which had been occasionally bothering him for two years. Illinois High School Association
The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) is an association that regulates competition of interscholastic sports and some interscholastic activities at the high school level for the state of Illinois. It is a charter member of the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The IHSA regulates 14 sports for boys, 15 sports for girls, and eight co-educational non-athletic activities. 2024–25 NBA G League Season
The 2024–25 NBA G League season was the 24th season of the NBA G League, the minor league basketball league of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The season consists of each team playing 16 Tip–Off Tournament games starting November 8, followed by the top eight teams playing in the Winter Showcase, which is then followed by 34 regular-season games for each team starting December 27. The Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. The school's team currently competes in the Big East Conference. Nike Elite Youth Basketball League
The Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, also known as Nike EYBL, or simply EYBL, is a basketball circuit for teams of players aged 17 and under. The circuit was founded in 2010 and is composed of AAU travel teams. Both boys and girls play in the EYBL in their respective categories. The EYBL is considered one of the top youth basketball circuits in the United States, and includes one Canadian team. The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is an amateur sports organization based in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs. The glenoid labrum (glenoid ligament) is a fibrocartilaginous (but not fibrocartilage, as previously thought) structure attached around the rim of the glenoid cavity on the shoulder blade. The shoulder joint is considered a ball-and-socket joint. Kevin John Lisch (born May 16, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player and coach, most known for his time spent in the Australian National Basketball League (NBL) as a player. He also holds an Italian passport and is an Australian citizen. Lisch played college basketball for the Saint Louis Billikens between 2005 and 2009, where he finished as the sixth-highest scorer in school history. After college, he made a name for himself in the NBL in Australia. He won an NBL championship and grand final MVP with the Perth Wildcats in his first professional season before winning the league MVP in 2012 and leading the Wildcats to another two grand finals in 2012 and 2013.
