Jonh Ingham
Jonh Ingham (born 1951) is an English entrepreneur who has worked in music journalism, pop band and nightclub management, advertising, internet application development and management consultancy. In the mid-1970s he worked for the British pop music newspaper '' Sounds'', and was a key journalist in the development of the punk rock pop and fashion music movement in the United Kingdom when he published the first press interview with the Sex Pistols. Early life Ingham was born in Australia to English parents, and grew up in Australia, Canada, and the USA. He received his formal education at South Eugene High School, Eugene, Oregon, and at the California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles, where he took a course in pop music criticism from Robert Christgau of ''The Village Voice''; Christgau helped him get his first work as a journalist. The Damned (band)
The Damned are an English rock band formed in London in 1976 by lead vocalist Dave Vanian, guitarist Brian James, bassist (and later guitarist) Captain Sensible and drummer Rat Scabies. They were the first punk band from the United Kingdom to release a single, " New Rose" (1976), release a studio album, '' Damned Damned Damned'' (1977) and tour the United States. Tangerine Dream is a German electronic music band founded in 1967 by Edgar Froese. The group has seen many personnel changes over the years, with Froese the only constant member until his death in January 2015. The best-known lineup of the group was its mid-1970s trio of Froese, Christopher Franke, and Peter Baumann. In 1979, Johannes Schmoelling replaced Baumann until his own departure in 1985. This lineup was notable for composing many movie soundtracks. Since Froese's death in 2015, the group has been under the leadership of Thorsten Quaeschning. Quaeschning is Froese's chosen successor and is currently the longest-serving band member, having joined in 2005.
