Jones Cup
The Jones Cup Invitational is an annual amateur golf tournament. It has been played since 2001 at Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia. It was originally biannual but it became an annual event in 2009. It is an individual 54-hole stroke-play competition. It is a "category A" tournament in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, meaning it is one of the top 30 men's amateur tournaments in the world. Sea Island, Georgia
Sea Island is a privately-owned, seaside resort island in Glynn County, Georgia, part of the Golden Isles of Georgia, which include St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island, and the mainland city of Brunswick. Corey Conners
Corey Michael Conners (born January 6, 1992) is a Canadian professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Conners has also played on the PGA Tour Canada, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and the Web.com Tour. Amateur career Conners was raised in Listowel, Ontario. He won the 2010 Ontario Amateur. Gregg Jones (born 1959) is an American journalist and the author of three critically acclaimed non-fiction books. Nicholas Thompson (born December 25, 1982) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour. Luke Ryan List (born January 14, 1985) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career List was born in Seattle, Washington. Kyle Matthew Stanley (born November 19, 1987) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Stanley was born in Gig Harbor, Washington. John Herring Peterson (born April 18, 1989) is an American professional golfer. Peterson was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He played college golf at Louisiana State University. At LSU, he was a three-time All-American and won twice, including the 2011 NCAA Division I Championship. Peterson turned professional in 2011.
