Jonathan Tattersall
Jonathan Andrew Tattersall (born 15 December 1994) is an English cricketer who plays for Yorkshire County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls leg breaks. He made his debut for the county in the 2013 Yorkshire Bank 40 against Glamorgan. He is a former England under 19s batsman, and his fielding ability saw him fielding as substitute for the England senior side. Tattersall represented England under 19s at the ICC World Cup. Tattersall was released by Yorkshire in September 2015, but then recalled. He made his first-class debut on 20 June 2018, for Yorkshire in the 2018 County Championship. 2018 T20 Blast
The 2018 Vitality Blast was the sixteenth edition of the T20 Blast currently known as the Vitality Blast, a professional Twenty20 cricket league in England and Wales. It was the first season in which the domestic T20 competition, run by the ECB, has been branded as the Vitality Blast due to a new sponsorship deal. The league consisted of the 18 first-class county teams divided into two divisions of nine teams each with fixtures played between July and September. The final day took place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on 15 September 2018. 2018 County Championship
The 2018 County Championship, known as the 2018 Specsavers County Championship for sponsorship reasons, is the 119th cricket County Championship season. As in 2017, Division One has eight teams and Division Two has ten teams, with two teams relegated and two promoted at the end of the season. First-class Cricket
First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Matches must allow for the teams to play two innings each, although in practice a team might play only one innings or none at all. The etymology of "first-class cricket" is unknown, but the term was used loosely before it acquired official status in 1895, following a meeting of leading English clubs. 2013 Yorkshire Bank 40
The 2013 Yorkshire Bank 40 tournament was the fourth and final season of the ECB 40 limited overs cricket competition for the English and Welsh first-class counties, plus Scotland, the Netherlands, and the Unicorns, a team of players who did not have first-class contracts. The competition consisted of three groups of seven teams, from which the top team from each group, plus the best second-placed team, progressed to the semi-finals. The groups were allocated randomly. In 2014, the ECB 40 was replaced with the 50-over Royal London One-Day Cup.
