Jonathan Sims
Jonathan Sims (born November 1988) is a British author, voice actor, musician, and games designer. He is popularly known for creating ''The Magnus Archives'', a horror anthology audio-drama. Career Acting During his time as a student in St Hilda's College, Oxford, Sims took part in amateur dramatics as part of the Oxford University Light Entertainment Society (OULES), which is billed as "Oxford's least serious drama society". In 2010, Sims was part of the initial line-up for a music group called The Mechanisms, a self-styled "Storytelling Musical Cabaret". Sims acted as lead singer, performing under the name Jonny D'Ville. Sims primarily acted as the narrator for performances, where classical stories such as the Odyssey and the legend of King Arthur were re-framed in steampunk, western and cyberpunk settings. The Magnus Archives
''The Magnus Archives'' is a supernatural horror Podcast#Fiction_podcast, fiction podcast written by Jonathan Sims, directed by Alexander J. Newall, and distributed by Rusty Quill. Sims starred as the Head Archivist for the fictional Magnus Institute, a London-based paranormal research institution, originally making audio recordings of statements for the Institute's research before being ensnared in a paranormal conspiracy traced back to the Institute itself. Five seasons were released between 2016 and 2021 on various audio streaming services. Slay The Princess
''Slay the Princess'' is a 2023 horror adventure game developed and published by Black Tabby Games for Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS systems. It was released on October 23, 2023. Gamemaster
A gamemaster (GM; also known as game master, game manager, game moderator, referee, storyteller, or master of ceremonies) is a person who acts as a facilitator, organizer, officiant regarding rules, arbitrator, and moderator for a multiplayer role-playing game.
