Jonathan Hui
Jonathan Hui Kin-tak ( zh, 許建德) is a Hong Kong businessman and racing driver. He is the grandson of Hui Sai-fun, the former chairman of the board of directors of Central Development Limited, and the son of Hui Jinqian. Hui has also served as a director of BRADFORD ENTERPRISES LIMITED. On October 30, 2021, Hui and Chris Froggatt won the annual GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup driver's championship in the Pro-Am category. Hui himself became the first Hong Kong racer to win that championship. Career Hui first came into contact with racing in Canada around 1996, and discovered his interest in this sport from track days. It was not until 2000 that he returned to Hong Kong and formally received training from Formula Campus, which was very popular in China at the time. In 2004, he participated in the annual Super Car Challenge (later renamed Asia GT) for the first time. GT World Challenge Europe
GT World Challenge Europe (known as the Blancpain GT Series between 2014 and 2019) is a sports car racing series organised by SRO Motorsports Group. It features grand tourer racing cars modified from production road cars complying with the FIA's GT3 regulations. The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The 2021 24 Hours of Spa (also known as the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa for sponsorship reasons) was the 73rd running of the 24 Hours of Spa. It took place from 29 July–1 August 2021. Background After being delayed the previous year to October due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Belgium, the race returned to its traditional end of July date for 2021. Spectators were allowed for the race, but were restricted to two bubbles and were required to wear a mask at all times.
