Jonathan Hoenig (; born September 10, 1975) is an American, founding member of the Capitalist Pig hedge fund, and a regular contributor to and regular panelist on Fox News Channel's ''Cashin' In'', ''Your World with Neil Cavuto'', ''Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld'' and ''WLS (AM)'' 890's morning show, Don Wade & Roma (now defunct). Background Hoenig was raised in Glencoe, Illinois, United States. He is a former floor trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, whose first book was published when he was 22. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and a vocal supporter of Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism. His brother Stephen died at the age of 19. Glencoe () is a lakefront village in northeastern Cook County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population was 8,849. Set in the wheat speculation trading pits at the Chicago Board of Trade Building, it was the second book in what was to be the trilogy ''The Epic of the Wheat''.
