Jonathan Barragán
Jonathan Barragán Nevado (born 19 July 1985) is a Spanish former professional motocross and enduro racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2004 to 2018. Career Barragán was born in Getafe in the Community of Madrid. His best result in the world championships came in 2008, when he won four Grands Prix and finished in fourth place in the MX1-GP World Championship results, while riding for the KTM factory racing team managed by former world champion Stefan Everts. In 2009, he won two Grands Prix and dropped to ninth in the MX1-GP championship. For 2010 he left the KTM team to join the Kawasaki factory racing team. Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona. The company specializes in off-road motorcycles for trials and enduro competitions. Gas Gas was purchased by KTM motorcycles in 2019. After the sale to KTM, Gas Gas's off-road models were purchased by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Rieju. Company history In 1973, Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat began operating a Bultaco motorcycle franchise in Salt. With the financial demise of the Bultaco factory in 1979, Casas and Pibernat began importing Italian SWM motorcycles until 1984 when, the manufacturer ceased operations. Casas and Pibernat then embarked on a programme to manufacture trial motorbikes for sale in their shop. The FIM Enduro World Championship, formerly known as the World Enduro Championship, is the world championship series for enduro, a popular form of off-road motorcycle sport. The championship currently features three classes (E1, E2 and E3), along with separate categories for junior and female riders. The 2010 FIM Motocross World Championship was the 54th season of World Championship motocross competition.
