Jonas Villanueva
Jonas Victolero Villanueva (born March 31, 1983) is a Filipino former professional basketball player and coach. Villanueva played 12 seasons in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He also coached the Bataan Risers of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). College career Born in Bocaue, Bulacan, Villanueva played college basketball for the FEU Tamaraws in which he helped them claim the UAAP Men's Basketball Championship in its UAAP Season 68, 68th season alongside Mark Isip, R.J. Rizada, Jeffrei Chan and former San Miguel Beermen, San Miguel teammate Arwind Santos. In that season, he took over the starting point guard role previously held by Denok Miranda. Bocaue, Bulacan
Bocaue , officially the Municipality of Bocaue (), is a municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 141,412 people. The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 PBA season, 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Magnolia Hotshots for the third-most titles overall. They were one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. Mike Cortez
Mike Salonga Cortez (born November 10, 1980) is a Filipino-American professional basketball coach and former player. He is an assistant coach for the Blackwater Bossing of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played for eight franchises during his career in the PBA. Cortez gained prominence in the amateur ranks for the De La Salle Green Archers in the UAAP and the ICTSI Archers in the Philippine Basketball League. Rodericko Cesar "Olsen" Escueta Racela (born November 1, 1970) is a Filipino coach and former player. He is both the head coach for the Perpetual Altas in the NCAA, and is an assistant coach for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played for 18 seasons during his PBA career. He was also a notable member of the Philippine national basketball team on many occasions. The UP Fighting Maroons are the collegiate varsity teams of the University of the Philippines Diliman. The teams play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the Philippines' premier college sports league. Arwind Anaya Santos (; born June 10, 1981) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Basilan Viva Portmasters of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Jeffrei Allan D. Chan (born February 11, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Biñan Tatak Gel of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). After being snubbed in the 2008 PBA draft, he became known as one of the best three-point shooters of his generation. Early life and college career Chan was born and raised in Bacolod.
