Jonas De Geus
Jonas de Geus (; born 29 April 1998) is a Dutch professional field hockey player who plays as a midfielder for Kampong and the Dutch national team. Club career De Geus started playing hockey at Almere where he went through all the youth ranks until he made his debut for the first team. In April 2019, he announced he would leave Almere at the end of the season. One month later he signed a four-year contract at Kampong. In the 2022–23 season he won the Golden Stick as the best player of the season. International career In November 2016, de Geus was selected for the 2016 Junior World Cup, where the team finished seventh. He made his debut for the senior national team at the age of 18 in a test match against South Africa in 2017. He was part of the Dutch team that won the silver medal at the 2018 World Cup. 2022–23 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey
The 2022–23 Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, also known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, was the 50th season of the Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, the top Dutch field hockey league. It began on 3 September 2022 and concluded on 29 May 2023 with the second match of the championship final. Bloemendaal were the three-time defending champions. They lost 5–1 on aggregate in the championship final to Pinoké who won their first national title. The Royal Dutch Hockey Association ( nl, Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond, KNHB) is the official governing body of Field hockey in the Netherlands. The 2019 Men's EuroHockey Championship was the 17th edition of the EuroHockey Nations Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organised by the European Hockey Federation. It was held alongside the women's tournament from 16 to 24 August 2019 in Antwerp, Belgium. The tournament also served as a direct qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, with the winner Belgium qualifying.
