Jon Holland
Jonathan Mark Holland (born 29 May 1987) is an Australian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a right-handed tail-end batsman. Early career Holland made his state cricket debut for Victoria in October 2008. He only played four first-class games in the 2008–09 Sheffield Shield season and didn't secure a permanent place in Victoria's first-class team, as he had to compete for a place in the team with the much older spin bowler Bryce McGain. However, he made his debut at a time when Australia lacked top-level spin bowlers, so he was rushed into Australia's second-level team, Australia A, for a series against Pakistan A in June 2009. He was selected by the Australian national team for a seven-match series in India in October 2009, but did not play a single game in the series. Australian Cricket Team In Sri Lanka In 2016
The Australian cricket team toured Sri Lanka from 18 July to 9 September 2016 to play three Test matches, five One Day Internationals (ODIs), two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) matches and a first-class practice match. The Test series was played for Warne–Muralitharan Trophy, with Sri Lanka winning 3–0, their first ever series whitewash against Australia. Ashton Charles Agar (born 14 October 1993) is an Australian cricketer who has played all forms of the game at international level. Agar plays domestically for Western Australia and the Perth Scorchers. 2015–16 Sheffield Shield Season
The 2015–16 Sheffield Shield season was the 114th season of the Sheffield Shield, the domestic first-class cricket competition in Australia. The season began after the conclusion of the Matador BBQs One-Day Cup, and included a break halfway through to allow for the Big Bash League. Trials for day/night Tests with a pink ball continued, having been introduced during the previous season. All of the matches for rounds one and seven of the tournament were played as day/night games. Victoria won their second consecutive title, defeating South Australia by 7 wickets in the final at Gliderol Stadium. Travis Head was named player of the series for his 721 runs and 9 wickets during the season. Fawad Ahmed
Fawad Ahmed ( ps, ; born 5 February 1982) is a Pakistan-born Australian cricketer. He was granted Australian citizenship in July 2013. In August and September 2013, he played for the Australian cricket team in both a T20I and an ODI series against England. He is the cousin of Pakistani international cricketers Junaid Khan and Yasir Shah. Victorian Premier Cricket is a club cricket competition in the state of Victoria administered by Cricket Victoria. Each club fields four teams (firsts through to fourths) of adult players and usually play on weekends and public holidays. Nathan Lyon
Nathan Michael Lyon (born 20 November 1987) is an Australian international cricketer. He made his Test debut in 2011 and plays domestic cricket for New South Wales. Lyon is an off spin bowler and a lower-order right-handed batsman. Considered the most successful off-spin bowler for Australia, Lyon holds the record for the most Test wickets taken by an Australian off-spin bowler, passing Hugh Trumble's 141 wickets in 2015. John Inverarity
Robert John Inverarity (born 31 January 1944) is a former Australian cricketer who played six Test matches. A right-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spin bowler in his playing career, Inverarity was also one of the enduring captains in the Australian Sheffield Shield during the late 1970s and early 1980s, captaining both Western Australia and South Australia. Inverarity was chair of selectors for Cricket Australia from 2011 to 2014. A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours.
