Jon Bennison (born 1 December 2002) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a er and for Widnes Vikings in the RFL Championship on 2-week loan from St Helens in the Super League. Playing career St Helens Throughout the 2021 Under-19s season, Bennison made eight appearances, scoring seven tries across the campaign. On 17 September 2021, Bennison made his professional debut, scoring a try in St Helens' 26–14 loss to Salford. On 24 September 2022, Bennison scored a try during St Helens 2022 Super League Grand Final victory over Leeds. Bennison played 19 games for St Helens in the 2023 Super League season as the club finished third on the table. Runcorn is an industrial town and Runcorn Docks, cargo port in the Borough of Halton, Cheshire, England. The Widnes Vikings are an English rugby league club in Widnes, Cheshire, which competes in the RFL Championship, Betfred Championship. The club plays home matches at DCBL Stadium. Super League (also known as the Betfred Super League for sponsorship reasons, and legally Super League Europe Ltd.) is a professional rugby league competition, and the highest level of the British rugby league system, which consists of twelve teams, eleven from Northern England, the sport's heartland, and one from southern France.
