Jolette Hernández
Jolette Guadalupe Hernández Navarrete (born 21 January 1984) is a Mexican singer and television presenter. She is best remembered for being part of the fourth generation from the reality musical talent show ''La Academia'' in 2005. Early life Jolette Guadalupe Hernández Navarrete was born on January 21, 1984 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, the daughter of Francisco Javier Hernández and Guadalupe Navarrete, and the sister of Javier and Pablo. She grew up in a conservative family attached to the Catholic religion, so she spent her childhood as a student of Orthodox religious schools. According to her parents, from childhood to adolescence, she showed a rebellious attitude towards people who asked her or did something that was not to her liking. This caused her problems while in high school, so she was frequently changed from the schools in which she studied, and also caused her mother to undergo several psychological tests in order to understand her behavior. ''La Academia'' (''The Academy'') is a Mexican reality musical talent television series shown on TV Azteca, that premiered in June 2002 and is currently in its thirteenth installment. Although the show itself is not affiliated with the Endemol franchise, which includes the " Star Academy" shows, it does share the competition format of many of the variants of the global franchise. Over the first seasons, the show was a reliable dominator of its time-slot, which was shown by its triumph over Televisa's ''Operación Triunfo Mexico'', in several countries including Chile, Peru and Venezuela. ''Bailando por un Sueño'' ("Dancing for a dream") is a reality series on the Mexican television network Canal de las Estrellas, in which many famous Latin American actors and actresses and celebrities are partnered with common, everyday people who have a dream they want to fulfill with the help of this program. Each week, the pairs of contestants compete against each other to impress a panel of judges.
