Joker (rapper)
Mete Erpek (born 6 September 1987), better known by his stage name Joker, is a Turkish rapper, singer and songwriter. Life and career Born in Eskişehir on September 6, 1987, Mete Erpek became acquainted with hip hop culture thanks to the breakdancing videos and tapes he acquired from Bulgaria in 2002. He dealt with graffiti for 2 years, established his own studio in 2004 and started making rap music as an amateur under the name "Narkoza a.k.a. Stanley". He released his first amateur album, ''Narkoz a.k.a. Stanley'', in 2005. In addition, the song "Mutluluk Tohumları" entered the top 10 in a demo contest. This success led him to join a group called Darp in Istanbul. He worked here for a year and then left the band. After attending university in Burdur for a while, he returned to Eskişehir. He took part in the albums of Battery Records and Allâme. In particular, they attracted attention with the song "Dünya İnanmıyor", which they included in the compilation album called ''Or ... Eskişehir ( , ; from "old" and "city") is a city in northwestern Turkey and the capital of the Eskişehir Province. O Ses Türkiye
''O Ses Türkiye'' is a Turkish reality singing competition and local version of '' The Voice''. It started on October 10, 2011. ''O Ses Türkiye'' is presented by Acun Ilıcalı (since 2011). One of the important premises of the show is the quality of singing. Four coaches, themselves popular performing artists, train the contestants in their groups and occasionally perform with them. Talents are selected in blind auditions, where the coaches cannot see, but only hear the contestants. Selection process and format ''O Ses Türkiye'' consists of four judges and a presenter. The competition includes five rounds in total. The coaches' chairs are faced towards the audience during artists' performances; those interested in an artist press their button, which turns their chair towards the artist and illuminates the bottom of the chair to read "O ses sensin" (You're that voice). Turkish hip hop refers to hip hop music produced by members of the Turkish minority in Germany, and to a lesser degree by hip hop artists in Turkey. The Turkish minority, called the Turks, first drew inspiration from the discrimination and racism they received while living as migrant workers in Germany in the 1960s. Turkish hip hop uses Arabesk music, a folk style that finds its roots in Turkey during the 1960s, and is influenced by the hip hop music of America and Germany. Album artwork, lyrical content, and the Turkish language are used by hip hop artists to express their uniquely Turkish identity. Bilgin Özçalkan (; born 31 December 1976), also known by his stage name Ceza (, Turkish for 'punishment'), is a Turkish rapper and songwriter. Early works In 1995, Özçalkan started a group called U.C.S and performed with this group until about 1998. His group Nefret got signed under Hammer Music in 2000, and the album ''Meclis Ala – İstanbul'' was released. In 2001, Özçalkan proceeded to release the album ''Anahtar''. The title track on this album that holds the same name as the album itself was the first one that came with a music video. The album was a great success, and Özçalkan performed at many concerts from it. However, Özçalkan's big breakthrough came in 2004. He was invited to one of the biggest rock festivals in Turkey, namely RockIstanbul, and was asked to perform on stage there.
