Johnny Townsend (American Football)
Johnny Townsend (born February 14, 1995) is an American football punter who is a free agent. He played college football at Florida. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. His younger brother Tommy is a punter on the Chiefs' active roster. Early years Townsend played at William R. Boone High School in Orlando. He was initially recruited by Ohio State. College career Townsend had the highest NCAA Division I FBS punting average in the country in 2016, with a 47.9 yard average. With this average, he also set the all-time punting record for the Florida Gators. Townsend held the NCAA Division I FBS record for highest career average yards per punt until 2021, when it was broken by Colorado State punter Ryan Stonehouse. A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snap (gridiron football), snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then Punt (gridiron football), punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. 2021 Pittsburgh Steelers Season

COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Sam Koch
Samuel David Koch ( ; born August 13, 1982) is a former American football punter who played for the Baltimore Ravens for his entire 16-year career in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska. He is known for developing many punting variations, revolutionizing his position in the process. Early years Koch attended Seward High School in Seward, Nebraska and played punter, kicker, tight end, offensive lineman, fullback, and linebacker for Coach Greg Welch and the football team.
