Johnny More
Johnny More (14 February 1934 – 8 December 2015) was an English comedy impressionist. He is perhaps best remembered as a star of the ITV impressions show '' Who Do You Do?'' and its 1980s successor '' Copy Cats''Lewisohn, Mark (1998). ''Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy''. BBC Books. p. 816. on which he was known for his impressions of Frank Sinatra. More was a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats. More was born in Hulme, Manchester and began his career in entertainment as a singer after winning talent contests. He also made appearances on ''Blankety Blank, Punchlines'' and ''The New Statesman'' (1987) in which he portrayed Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock. His impersonations also included film stars; Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone and he did impressions of Tony Blair and President George H. W. Impressionist (entertainment)
An impressionist or a mimic is a performer whose act consists of imitating sounds, voices and mannerisms of celebrities and cartoon characters. The word usually refers to a professional comedian/entertainer who specializes in such performances and has developed a wide repertoire of impressions, including adding to them, often to keep pace with current events. Impressionist performances are a classic casino entertainment genre. Someone who imitates one particular person without claiming a wide range, such as a lookalike, is instead called an impersonator. In very broad contexts, "impersonator" may be substituted for "impressionist" where the distinction between the two is less important than avoiding confusion with the use of "impressionist" in painting and music. Leukaemia
Leukemia ( also spelled leukaemia; pronounced ) is a group of blood cancers that usually begin in the bone marrow and produce high numbers of abnormal blood cells. These blood cells are not fully developed and are called ''blasts'' or '' leukemia cells''. Symptoms may include bleeding and bruising, bone pain, fatigue, fever, and an increased risk of infections. These symptoms occur due to a lack of normal blood cells. Diagnosis is typically made by blood tests or bone marrow biopsy. The exact cause of leukemia is unknown. A combination of genetic factors and environmental (non-inherited) factors are believed to play a role.
