Johnny Iuzzini
Johnny Iuzzini /u-zee-nee/ (born August 31, 1974) is an American pastry chef, television celebrity, and cookbook author. He resides in New York City. He is a 1994 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and served as executive pastry chef at Daniel from 2001 through 2002 and at Jean Georges from 2002 through 2011. Iuzzini is the author of two cookbooks, and was a judge on the first three seasons of ''The Great American Baking Show'' in 2017. On November 29, 2017, Iuzzini was accused of sexual harassment by four former employees and the third season of ''The Great American Baking Show'' was pulled after one episode. Early life Iuzzini was born August 31, 1974, and raised in the Catskills region of New York. Café Boulud is a French restaurant located at 20 East 76th Street (between Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue), inside the Surrey Hotel, on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, in New York City. ''Cutthroat Kitchen'' is an American cooking show hosted by Alton Brown that aired on the Food Network from August 11, 2013 to July 19, 2017. It features four chefs competing in a three-round elimination cooking competition. The contestants face auctions in which they can purchase opportunities to sabotage one another. Each chef is given $25,000 at the start of the show; the person left standing keeps whatever money they have not spent in the auctions. The show ended on its 15th season in July 2017. The GLAAD Media Award is an accolade bestowed by GLAAD to recognize and honor various branches of the media for their outstanding representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender ( LGBT) community and the issues that affect their lives.
