John Zaccaro
John Anthony Zaccaro (born April 5, 1933) is an American real estate developer and owner of P. Zaccaro & Company, which was founded by his father Philip Zaccaro. The company acts as a landlord for properties in the Little Italy, Chinatown, and East Side areas of Manhattan and previously in Queens. He is the widower of Geraldine Ferraro, former U.S. House of Representatives member from New York and the 1984 Democratic Party Vice Presidential nominee on the unsuccessful ticket with former Vice President Walter Mondale, which lost overwhelmingly to the Republican ticket of incumbent President and Vice President Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush. Ferraro died in 2011. The couple's finances, and his reluctance to make public his tax returns, became a major issue in that 1984 campaign. Bay Ridge is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School (OCS) is a training regiment designed to screen and evaluate potential Marine Corps Officers. Those who successfully complete the period of instruction are commissioned as Second Lieutenants in the United States Marines. Rhodes Preparatory School
Rhodes Preparatory School (1912–1987) was a private school located for much of its history at 11 West 54th Street in Manhattan, New York City, United States. It included a lower school with students in seventh and eighth grades and an upper school for students from grades nine through twelve. For a brief period, it also had fifth and sixth grade classes. There was also an evening school for adults. Rhodes was a college preparatory school. It attracted students from all over the world.
