John Van Nostrand
John Van Nostrand (July 17, 1961 – April 15, 1984) was a professional tennis player from the United States. His sister Molly Van Nostrand also played tennis professionally. Career Van Nostrand was a dual NCAA All-American for Pepperdine University, in 1982 and 1983. He appeared in the main draw of one Grand Slam during his career, the 1983 Australian Open, in the men's doubles, but never got to play a point, as he and partner Jim Gurfein defaulted the match. The American was a quarter-finalist at the 1983 Hall of Fame Tennis Championships, held in Newport, Rhode Island. He beat world number 46 Mike De Palmer in the opening round and Mike Leach in the second round. In the first tournament of the 1984 Grand Prix season, at Auckland, Van Nostrand and partner Brian Levine were doubles champions. Peter Carter (9 August 1964 – 1 August 2002) was an Australian tennis player and coach. He is widely known as the first and most influential coach of Roger Federer. Playing career Carter won the 1985 Melbourne Tennis Tournament with Darren Cahill. He reached a career high of 173 in singles and 117 in doubles on the ATP, but his career was hampered by injuries. Brad Drewett
Brad Drewett (19 July 1958 – 3 May 2013) was an Australian tennis player and ATP official. He was the 1975 and 1977 Australian Open junior champion and the youngest player at age 17 to win the title since Ken Rosewall and John Newcombe. He was also the third-youngest Australian Open quarterfinalist in his first Grand Slam appearance, at 17 years 5 months in 1975, behind Boris Becker, 17 years 4 days in 1984 and Goran Ivanišević, 17 years 4 months in 1989.
