John Sankaramangalam
John Sankaramangalam (16 July 1934 – 30 July 2018) was an Indian filmmaker and former director of the Film and Television Institute of India, FTII, Pune. He has lso served the positions of vice-chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, principal of St. Joseph College of Communication and as a jury member of the International Film Festival of India. He was an executive member of CILECT. He was a renowned teacher in filmmaking and recipient of numerous awards including National Film Award, Kerala State Film Award and Nargis Dutt Award. Biography Early life Sankaramangalam was born on 16 July 1934, in Eraviperoor of Pathanamthitta district. He was the son of Thaiparambil Sankaramangalam T.O. Chacko and Annamma. Sreedharan Nair (11 September 1922 – 19 October 1986), popularly known as Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair or just Kottarakkara, was an Indian actor, born as the son of Narayana Pillai and Ummini Amma in Kollam district, Kerala. Madhavan Nair Born on (23 September 1933) commonly known by his stage name Madhu, is an Indian actor, director, producer, former college lecturer and former film studio owner, who works in Malayalam cinema and a certain number of Hindi and Tamil films.
