John Milfull
John Milfull (24 April 1940 – 6 November 2016) was an Australian academic, educator and professor. In 1971 he was appointed as professor of German and head of the School of German at the University of New South Wales. In 1984 he became the dean of arts and social sciences there. He later founded that university's degree program in European studies and founded its Centre for European Studies and in 1986 was appointed as professor emeritusList of Emeriti - UNSW Sydney , unsw.edu.au. Konrad Kwiet
Konrad Kwiet (born 1941) is a historian and scholar of the Holocaust. He is currently Pratt Foundation Professor at the University of Sydney and Resident Historian at the Sydney Jewish Museum. He has worked in universities, museums and research centres around the world, including Heidelberg, Israel, Washington, D.C., Oxford and Berlin. Career Konrad Kwiet was born in Swinemünde in 1941 and educated in Amsterdam and Berlin. He studied history at Technische Universität Berlin, completing his PhD on Nazi policy in the Netherlands. Kwiet emigrated to Australia in 1976 to take up a lecturing position at the University of New South Wales. He retired as emeritus professor from Macquarie University in 2000 and is currently Pratt Foundation Professor for Jewish History and Holocaust Studies at the University of Sydney. ''Gamamari'' is a student magazine published at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1953 as ''Tharunka'' at the then New South Wales University of Technology, the publication has been published in a variety of forms by various student organisations. Until its shutdown in 2023, ''Gamamari'' was published 3 times a year by Arc @ UNSW Limited. In mid-2024 the publication changed its name to ''Gamamari'' after concerns about the name ''Tharunka'', which was thought to mean " message stick" in a Central Australian Aboriginal language, being potentially stolen or made up were raised.
