John J. Robinson (politician)
John J. Robinson (May 10, 1888 – September 3, 1934) was an American lawyer and politician from Centerport, New York. Life Robinson was born on May 10, 1888 in Brooklyn, Brooklyn, New York, the son of John J. and Mary E. Robinson. Robinson attended parochial schools in Brooklyn and St. Francis Xavier school in Manhattan. He began attending College of the Holy Cross, Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1906, but he left after his freshman year due to poor health. When his health recovered that fall, he entered Brooklyn Law School and graduated from there with an LL.B. in 1909. He was admitted to the bar in 1910 and opened an office in the Singer Building in New York City. He moved to Centerport, New York, Centerport in 1907 and opened a branch office in Huntington, New York, Huntington in 1911. George Mundelein
George William Mundelein (July 2, 1872 – October 2, 1939) was an Catholic Church in the United States, American Catholic who served as Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, Archbishop of Chicago from 1915 until his death in 1939. He was elevated to the College of Cardinals, cardinalate in 1924. Thomas Edmund Molloy
Thomas Edmund Molloy (September 4, 1885 – November 26, 1956) was an American prelate of the Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Brooklyn from 1921 until his death in 1956. Biography He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, the fourth of the eight children of John and Ellen Molloy. He attended Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire, before entering St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York and graduating in 1904. He then decided to study for the priesthood and was enrolled at St. John's Seminary in Brooklyn. He was later sent to further his studies in Rome at the Pontifical North American College and the Propaganda University. Molloy was ordained a priest by Cardinal Pietro Respighi on September 19, 1908. Upon his return to the United States in 1909, Molloy became a curate aQueen of All Saints Churchin Brooklyn.
