John Haggerty
John Haggerty (born October 17, 1960, Chicago) is an influential Chicago guitarist. Haggerty was a member of Naked Raygun from 1983 to 1989. Upon leaving Naked Raygun, He formed the band Pegboy with brother Joe Haggerty, Steve Saylors, and Larry Damore. Background The eldest son of a plumber father and a librarian mother, Haggerty first picked up the guitar at age 16. His early influences included Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, Michael Schenker and Brian Robertson. Upon discovering the Chicago punk scene at O'Banions, Haggerty quickly began searching for his place in punk rock. His biggest influences were the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, Stiff Little Fingers and the Jam. ''All Rise'' is the second studio album recorded by Chicago punk rock band Naked Raygun in 1985 and released on LP by Homestead Records in 1986. When Quarterstick Records re-released all of Naked Raygun's early albums in the late 90s, two bonus tracks were added to the CD album. ''All Rise'' is the first Naked Raygun album to feature Pierre Kezdy on bass and Eric Spicer on drums, though all of the album's songs had been written by vocalist Jeff Pezzati and guitarist John Haggerty before Kezdy and Spicer joined the band. ''Throb Throb'' is the debut studio album by American punk rock band Naked Raygun, released on Homestead Records in 1985. It was the first of the band's releases to feature the musicianship of John Haggerty whose guitar playing distinguished the band's sound during the 1980s. Quarterstick Records reissued the album in 1999, and added an early version of "Libido" as bonus material, which originally appeared on the ''Flammable Solid'' 7". Release Naked Raygun had combined resources with other local bands, such as Big Black and The Effigies, to release records themselves under the name Ruthless Records. Ian McCallum (born September 1965) is an English guitarist and songwriter. Early life He was born in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, England and supports Scottish football club Rangers He's also a lifelong fan of Newcastle United football club. Career McCallum started writing and touring in the early 1980s. He plays guitar for Stiff Little Fingers, and is also a recording artist in his own right. He is a fan of the English folk-rock band Lindisfarne, and played guitar for them on one occasion when Simon Cowe was unavailable. He also co-wrote, with Lindisfarne member Alan Hull, the band's single "We Can Make It". Local H
Local H is an American rock band co-founded in 1990 in Zion, Illinois by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas, who has remained the band's sole consistent member. Following the departures of the early line-up's bassist and lead guitarist, Lucas and co-founding drummer Joe Daniels continued as an unorthodox two-piece setup. Local H signed a record contract with Island Records in 1994, where they would go on to release three albums. The band's debut album, '' Ham Fisted'' (1995), was not a success and the band was nearly dropped, but the band remained on the label long enough to release their second album '' As Good as Dead'' (1996). Jake Burns
John "Jake" Burns (born 21 February 1958) is a singer and guitarist, and is best known as the frontman of Stiff Little Fingers, although he has also recorded with Jake Burns and the Big Wheel, 3 Men + Black, and as a solo artist. Early life Burns was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and grew up in Joanmount in Ballysillan. Burns's mother was a seamstress, and his father was a machinist in a textile machinery factory/steel foundry, where he was a shop steward, and his socialist views were an influence on Burns.
