John Grayken
John Patrick Grayken (born June 1956) is an American-born Irish billionaire financier, the founder and chairman of the private equity firm Lone Star Funds. Forbes magazine ranked Grayken 424th in the list of World's Billionaires and listed his wealth as totaling $6.9 billion for 2024. Early life John Patrick Grayken was born in June 1956, and was brought up in Cohasset, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. He received a BA degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1982. Cohasset is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census the population was 8,381. History Cohasset was inhabited by the Pokanoket until 1649, when it was conquered by the Wampanoag, and then the Massachusett in 1668.
