John Fuller (bushranger)
John Owen (30 April 18309 April 1865), better known by his alias Daniel Morgan, was an Australian bushranger and outlaw. Active mainly in the Riverina of New South Wales and northern Victoria, he committed numerous raids and robberies and murdered at least four men, including two constables. He also shot several others. Morgan was known by multiple aliases during his bushranging career, including Billy the Native, Warrigal and Down-the-River Jack. After Morgan wounded police magistrate Henry Baylis in a shootout in August 1863, the Government of New South Wales offered a reward for his capture. The amount increased to £1,000 as his crimes escalated, and he was officially declared an outlaw in March 1865. One month later, while holding up Peechelba station in Victoria, he was shot and killed by a stockman. John Fuller (died 1558) was the master of Jesus College, Cambridge. As bishop's chancellor in Ely, Cambridgeshire, he was charged with suppressing Christian heresy, condemning several heretics to be burnt at the stake. Biography Fuller was a native of Gloucester. He was educated at All Souls College, Oxford, where he was admitted to the Bachelor of Canon Law degree in July 1533, and became a fellow in 1536. He graduated Doctor of Canon Law in January 1546, and in the same year admitted himself a member of Doctors' Commons. In 1547 he served as rector of Hanwell, Middlesex, but resigned the charge in 1551, having in 1550 been appointed vicar-general or chancellor to Thomas Thirlby, bishop of Norwich. At about the same time he became vicar of Swaffham, and rector of East Dereham and North Creake in Norfolk. John Mee Fuller (4 December 1834 – 16 August 1893) was an English first-class cricketer, clergyman and academic. The son of Reverend Thomas Fuller, he was born at Westminster in December 1834. He was educated at Marlborough College, before going up to St John's College, Cambridge. Prior to beginning his studies at Cambridge, Fuller made his debut in first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1854, making three appearances. The following year he began playing first-class cricket for Cambridge University, debuting against Oxford University in The University Match at Lord's. He played first-class cricket for Cambridge until 1858, making a total of eleven appearances. He scored 290 runs at an average of 17.05, with a high score of 69. John Edward Fuller (born January 29, 1950) is an American former Major League Baseball player. He played three games in one season with the Atlanta Braves from May 9 to May 12, 1974. Fuller made his Major League debut on May 9, 1974 against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. He popped out against Rick Reuschel in his only turn at bat, a pinch hit appearance in relief of pitcher Danny Frisella. Two days later, he appeared in the second of his three Major League games, a contest against the San Francisco Giants at Atlanta Stadium. John Charles Fuller (born March 3, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a safety for played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears. Playing college football for the Lamar Cardinals, Fuller made all-conference three years and as a senior was named a small college all-American. He also lettered in track four years and was a qualifier in the decathlon for the 1968 U. S. Olympic trials. Fuller was an assistant coach at Lamar University for six years, leaving there in 1986. Johnny Fuller (April 20, 1929 – May 20, 1985) was an American West Coast and electric blues singer and guitarist. Fuller showed musical diversity, performing in several musical genres including rhythm and blues, gospel and rock and roll. His distinctive singing and guitar playing appeared on a number of 1950s San Francisco Bay Area recordings, although he ceased performing regularly by the late 1970s. He worked as an auto mechanic from 1968 to 1983. His best known recording, "Haunted House", was later covered with some success by Jumpin' Gene Simmons.
